K-Pop Idols Assist Filipina Influencer in Seoul

A Filipina Influencer, Kristine Roces, also known as Real Asian Beauty, went viral for an unexpected encounter in Korea, where she received assistance from strangers, only to discover that these strangers were none other than K-Pop idols.

The incident unfolded when Kristine Roces shared a video on TikTok of her struggling to carry a heavy suitcase up a steep staircase at Hyewa Station in Seoul.

While struggling with her suitcase, two men came down the stairs and offered their help to the woman. Many netizens were surprised by this heartwarming act and some initially thought it was staged. However, Kristine Roces cleared the air and confirmed that the gesture was entirely spontaneous and genuine.

What made this encounter even more reminiscent of a K-drama was the revelation in the comments section that the two men were, in fact, K-Pop idols. These idols, known as Janghyeon and Hwanrok, are members of the group “withus,” which made its debut on November 17th, 2020.

Visitors to Korea often praise the friendliness of the people. However, fans were astounded when actual idols helped the influencer. Unsurprisingly, the video received millions of views within 24 hours of being posted.
